There’s no such thing as complacency in the Taylor Fencing team. Pardon us, the TFR Construction team! That’s right, we’ve expanded and rebranded and we’re excited to tell our blog readers and site visitors all about it. We pulled a little bit of a cheat right there on the homepage, but we are not sorry about it. In fact, we are so excited that we’re able to dig deep into the decades of experience our family-run company has built. What started as simply installing fences and gates for all sorts of properties has quickly evolved into much more. It makes sense, right? We’ve spent so much time on different types of properties (and written about it right here in previous posts), that we’ve amassed all sorts of knowledge related to your homes that we never thought we’d build. We’ve seen success stories; we’ve seen opportunities for growth – and we’ve learned about it all from constructive feedback from customers and readers like you. Believe us, if we haven’t said it before… we love it. Keep it coming. Send a carrier pigeon, share a tweet, if we’re lucky – share a testimonial about the core values of the TFR team. We hope that they match what we try to achieve: a balance of customer service, quality craftsmanship and engaged communication so that you always know what’s going on with your home or business. It belongs to you and yours, it was your investment, we’re just here to make it better and better.
We know you’re on the edge of your seats, popcorn in hand. How are you expanding your services, TFR?! Okay fine, we’ll help out and share some details in today’s post. But we’d be remiss if we didn’t share that you can get all the answers that you need if you pick up the phone and call us. Or email us. Or… novel idea – visit us! We promise that we’re nice and we’re here to help answer any questions that you may have, fences or not.
We know, the name may be confusing. We hope that the Earth works, right? Well, it does if you work with our team, especially if you have land that needs to be prepped for all sorts of renovation projects. It’s more complicated than you may think, and you certainly want it done correctly. Your land needs to be a blank slate before any sort of project can be completed. Don’t worry, we can help with that and then some. Our services in this space range from excavations for retaining walls, sport courts and fencing to site cuts to laser grading for sport courts to rubbish removal. (You’d be surprised how many people leave rubbish on their property! … and lots of it!) With our earthworks services, you can wipe your hands of any of these cleaning duties. Take a look at your property as a totally blank slate – one that we’re sure we’ll make ten times better.
This should come as no surprise to our return readers as retaining walls have always been a bit of our bread and butter. Some people don’t know what they are, so here’s a refresher. Courtesy of this site: “A retaining wall is a structure that holds or retains soil behind it. There are many types of materials that can be used to create retaining walls like concrete blocks, poured concrete, treated timbers, rocks or boulders. Some are easy to use, others have a shorter life span, but all can retain soil.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves, although we have detailed all sorts of things about retaining walls in the past… we’ll just give you that encouragement to read the older posts on this blog. Earthworks ties directly into the work that we do with retaining walls because we know where and how to excavate for them. You can check out our “Projects” pages for visuals and specific examples because we know that no two properties are the same. We love to source locally, and sustainably, wherever possible – both are very important to us, and we want to share that with you. The bonuses are aplenty – you’re limiting your carbon footprint; you’re helping the local economy and you’re keeping money in your wallet. (We like that!) Retaining walls are a huge upgrade in both your household experience and curb appeal because they swing open the door for landscaping opportunities. Because of the breadth of our teams’ skills, we can offer excavators from 1.7 to 4.5 tonnes, so no project is too big for us.
Sports Court Construction
Who doesn’t love a good sport court? If we can’t all be out playing sports right now, we should be able to bring them to our homes and businesses. We’ve seen a huge uptick in requests for sport courts and – not to brag – we understand why. Like retaining walls for landscaping, they have huge curb appeal and value to your property, even if you’re not the most avid athlete. The thing is, as we share on our site, sports courts need to be constructed properly. Otherwise, you’re most likely going to have to rework them within a short amount of time, or worse, set users up for injuries. Not on our watch. Again, we use the right materials, we’ve worked the process, and when the work is done – we’re not done. We are always on standby to check in and help with regular maintenance.
Fencing & Hoarding
Finally, let’s talk about fencing and hoarding. No, we’re not talking about the television show Hoarders; If that’s more your speed, we recommend that you check it out and then thoroughly clean up your homes. Instead, this space goes back to our roots – more than forty years of experience across the fencing industry, working with every variation of a custom and premium fence that you could think of. We don’t believe in simple off-the-shelf solutions; we believe in the custom solutions that make sense for you.
Questions? Let us know! We’re excited to work with you.
