January Home News

January Home NewsThe Taylor Fencing team knows and loves a tradition. We always will, no matter what year it is. And in 2021, we can’t to bring you even more home news.

What is home news? Great question for both our current and our prospective customers. By the way, greetings to our prospective customers and those who are reading the Taylor Fencing blog for the first time. We can’t say it enough – (spoiler, we never will) – we are so thrilled to have you here. We’re thrilled for a couple of reasons:

There is nothing better to us than those that are ready to build or enhance their dream home. If you visit this blog from time-to-time, then you know that working on your dream fences or gates, we sure spend a lot of time appreciating the architecture of the properties that we work on. A fence or a gate like the ones in our inventory (humble brag) speak so highly of our appreciation to detail and our commitment to ensuring that fences and gates are one part in the puzzle as you design and construct somewhere where you’re going to make dozens of memories with those that matter most to you.

Also, we LOVE to learn. We say it all of the time and sorry – we won’t stop. Each of us has immense strengths, (it’s why we’re the best at what we do), but we also know that there is no finish line. So, why shouldn’t we share it with you? We just shared in our Happy New Year for 2021 post that sharing information with you is incredibly important to us, so here we go. We’re a team of our words and we’re ready to share the most entertaining, engaging and informative articles. We hope that you enjoy:

Luxury Is About Good Construction

We nodded our heads at every word in this first article. There are many different ways to define a beautiful home and we appreciate them all – but good construction does need to be paramount. A big part of that is home inspections. They’re not necessarily fun, but they are important, especially if you’re looking at a property as your forever home or an investment property on which you’d like to make money. Home inspections can be very confusing and you may think that you have to work with several different teams. Sometimes that’s the case, but this is a scenario where we recommend reaching out to the Taylor Fencing team. We can always help you streamline the experience and hopefully point you in the direction of the right council groups or associated businesses so you that you can safely and happily get into your next home. Check out this article if you’re interested in learning more.

Can You Stay Under Budget?

Imagine if you had all of the money in the world. Or at least ten million dollars. For some of our readers, we’re sure this is a reality and to you, we say, “congratulations!” For the rest of us, we say, “can you imagine what you’d do with that much money?” The answers, we’re sure, would vary, and that’s what this article is focusing on. Buzzfeed articles can be so much fun to peruse and in this one, you have exactly that – ten million dollars. But…. There’s a catch. You are taking a quiz about how you would buy a home with a ten-million-dollar bonus. It sounds like a no-brainer, but it’s not. When you have a tonne of money, you need to know how to do it, and don’t worry, they’re here for you. Piqued your interest? We thought so. Visit here, see how you fare and let us know. We’d love to take any tips that you have.

Make Your Dream Home Out of Gingerbread

We’re a little bit late on this front, but the holidays were more important than ever this year. We chose the word ‘important’, because it can be interpreted in so many ways… both positive and negative. If you were able to travel and see your family, we’re very excited and happy for you. But, for many, that was not the case. Nonetheless, many activities didn’t change – especially those related to holidays. We’d love to know, what’s your favourite holiday activity. We bet that many of you would answer that you love building and being creative about gingerbread houses. That’s certainly the case for the star of this article, and we are loving it. Jonathan Moore is a self-proclaimed architect with a sweet tooth and he is certainly making some sweet concoctions. One recipe, one beautiful house. Doesn’t matter what time of the year it is. Here you go. You’re welcome.

Interior Design Tips for 2021

Finally, as we normally wrap-up our monthly compilations of home news, let’s head inside. It may be slowly getting colder there, but it is still very beautiful and we want to celebrate that. ‘Energy’ is another term that can mean a dozen different things to a dozen different people. Maybe you love things like the art of Zen and Feng shui. Maybe you are someone that doesn’t believe in them in the slightest and never will. We’re not here to change your mind, but we certainly are here to bring the most positivity that the Taylor Fencing team can, in any way that we can. As this article shares about its protagonists, “Lilit and Christina’s mission is not only to create beautiful spaces, but to establish an elevated existence using the power of interior design to make any atmosphere feel healing, empowering, encouraging, and inspiring.

So, after the year that 2020 was, and how much time we’ve spent in our homes, they want to bring in new, uplifting energy into your home for a fresh start in the new year.” How can you say no to that, right? We’re not. Read the full article at this link and let us know what you think.

What a great start to the year, right? Let’s keep learning and growing together. Thank you from the Taylor Fencing team.
