While some of us are better chefs than others on the Taylor Fencing team, we know that the perfect combination of ingredients and processes transcends far beyond the kitchen. A well-thought-out recipe can be something that everyone in your life talks about for years and requests at every opportunity. A poorly thought-out recipe can be equally talked about, but not in the best of lights. The term that we want to focus on here is “well thought out” and that’s what every product, job and relationship the Taylor Fencing team has a role in, takes pride in. If we’re putting the Taylor Fencing stamp of approval on anything, you better believe that we’ve carefully thought through every detail, every missed opportunity, every chance to show why we’re number one in the industry when it comes to designing, constructing and installing your dream fence. After all, you’ll be hard-pressed to find another company in the industry that puts as much effort into sharing information with our customers and community – including information that reaches far beyond our expertise with premium fences and gates. Your home is your sanctuary, somewhere you should be proud of, and we understand that. So many of the posts on our blog take a look at other ways that get you educated and excited about your property. Not today. Today, we’re focusing on the core of our existence, our foundation if you will. We’re taking a good, hard look at exactly what makes the perfect fence. Read on for more information.
The first thing that we always look at is materials. That may seem obvious, but it’s actually a long and complicated science. And it should be that way. We need to stand behind whatever materials that we choose for our products, but more than that, they’re an indicator of our brand and its success. Our materials need to show a few things – that we care about your wallets, that we care about the environment, and that we care about curb appeal. None of these are necessarily more important than any other, they’re all a part of the equation. We want to save you money, but we also want to make you money. We want to ensure that you’re making a smart investment so that, if you ever leave your property, the next owner will inherit some top-notch fencing. As mentioned, sustainability is also key. It’s never been more important for the planet and we’re grateful that the industry has evolved so that there are options to choose from that limit your carbon footprint. That hasn’t always been the case, but in a day and age where we appreciate every piece of uplifting news we can get, it’s nice to think that that will only continue to be the case.
The next thing we look at, and perhaps it’s in parallel – is the team that we work with. There are many different roles on a winning team and the Taylor Fencing company believes that we have filled all of those slots. The great thing is, each of our team members has a little bit of each skill that we look for – making them the ideal candidates to help work on your property. Obviously, leadership is key, but so too is respect, camaraderie, collaboration and customer service. When you work with the Taylor Fencing team, you are priority number one, and we always want to ensure that you feel that way. We want your needs listened to, your timeline listened to and we always want to be open and honest about impending costs. When you start work with the Taylor Fencing team, we always share a conservative estimate on what the project will cost. We do so, so that there are no surprises down the line. That said, we like to break it down so that you know exactly what you’re spending your money on and where. When estimates are itemized, you have the power to say, “no, I don’t want that” or “do we really need that?” This is something that you won’t see very often with our competitors in the business, but it’s very important to us.
Finally, we provide a very finessed process. It’s something that we’ve been working on for a very long time and it changes every year. That’s why we think posts of this nature are important to re-share so that you know that we’re constantly changing and evolving… for you. Home renovations are some of the most stressful projects that you can take on in life. But they don’t have to be if you’re working with the right team. Homeowners and renters may assume in advance that a body of work that they’re about to take on is truly going to wear them down, therefore they don’t want to move forward with it. We say no. We say that you should be as excited as possible about a home renovation – particularly one of our fences or gates. You’re making your home safer, you’re making it more beautiful, it’s going to have a completely different look when you arrive home or leave for the day. And the great thing is, it’s not permanent. You may think that a white picket fence is exactly what the property needs right now, and maybe it does, but in six months, you could easily switch up your fence for a wrought iron variety. To that point, part of our finessed process (and no, we can’t give away all of our secrets) is that we can give the sort of advice you need to make these big decisions. You name it, we’ve seen it – all sorts of terrains, property sizes and more. So, if you’re on the fence about a design decision, don’t fret – again, we’re here for you.
We hope that this has excited you about a future installation of your dream fence or gate. The Taylor Fencing team is available by phone or email. We look forward to working with you.
